Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the methods for food sampling (official controls, inspection) and laboratory testing for the purpose of research/analysis over the effective presence of genetically modified materials (food safety issues).
This Regulation transposes the rules contained in the Commission Regulation (EU) No 619/2011 of 24 June 2011 laying down the methods of sampling and analysis for the official control of feed as regards the presence of genetically modified materials for which an authorization procedure is pending/or has expired.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
