Abstract
This Regulation prescribes related oenological processes for the production of wine and other grape products among designated restrictions, classifies all chemical and organic products or substances that can be used in the preparation and preservation of grape products (oenological agents), the method of their use and restrictions on their use. Approved oenological processes and oenological agents, conditions for the production and preservation of wine and other grape products are given in Annex 1 of this text. Only oenological agents given in Annex 2 may be used for the production and preservation of organic wine and other grape products. Oenological processes for sparkling wines, quality sparkling wines and quality aromatic sparkling wines are given in Annex 3. Oenological processes and restrictions for liqueur wine and liqueur wine with a protected designation of origin and a protected geographical indication are given in Annex 4.
