Abstract
This Regulation defines the necessary phytosanitary measures aimed to provide the prevention of introduction, spread and suppression of Potato spindle tuber viroid causing wilt in potato tubers.
As this Regulation prescribes, plants intended for planting, including seeds, of the genus Brugmansia Pers. can be introduced in Montenegro only if they are accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate, which also contains the following information: plants origin and life cycle description certified by the competent department of health and plant protection if the country of origin.
This text transposes the rules contained in the Commission Decision of 12 June 2007 on measures to prevent the introduction into and the spread within the Community of Potato spindle tuber viroid.

This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette. The provision of article 3 (paragraph 1, item 1) of this Regulation shall be effective from 1 January 2013.
