Abstract
This Regulation determines and regulates the prohibited or permitted uses, production and placing on the market of chemicals or certain products that can represent an unacceptable risk to human health and environment.
Chemicals or other specific products that pose unacceptable health risks to public health and environment safety and whose use, production and placing on the market is prohibited or limited, are listed in the Annex 1 of this publication. Long-lasting organic pollutants and products containing such pollutants, can be used, manufactured or placed on the market in accordance with rules and specifications laid down in Annex 2. Other related products shall be used in accordance with the maximum permitted values prescribed in Annex 3. Article 6 prescribes the related penalty measures and fines.
