Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the specific conditions for the marketing and use of ammonium nitrate (AN) with a high concentration of nitrogen (CAS no. 6484-52-2/EC no. 229-347-8) that here is defined as a substance with high risk to human health and environment.
This text transposes the rules contained in the European Commission Decisions 552/2009 of 22 June 2009 and amending Regulation (EC) Nr. 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restrictions (REACH) with respect to Annex XVII; Annex III of Regulation (EC) no. 2003/2003 of the European Parliament and the Council; Council Directive 93/15 / EEC of 5 April 1993 regarding the harmonization of the provisions concerning the marketing and control of explosives for civil use.
