Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the: form, content and material for making and applying of swine (live animal) identification/marking ear tags, and other similar tags (such as eyebrow tags); issues regarding the registration, entry into the related register, data collection and delivery and other administrative rules.
This Regulation transposes the rules contained in the Council Directive 2008/71/EC of 15 July 2008 on the identification and registration of pigs.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
