Abstract
This Regulation defines the rules for the approval of concrete border crossings, or approved border inspection posts where veterinary controls are to be implemented as regards the consignments of animals and/or products of animal origin entering (international trade) into the territory of the Republic of Montenegro (also technical and other requirements).
This Regulation transposes the rules contained in the Commission Decision 2001/812/EC of 21 November 2001 on the conditions for granting of approval on border veterinary sites approved for veterinary checks on products to be imported into the Community from third countries; Council Directive 97/78/EC of 18 December 1997 on the principles of veterinary practice control of products entering the Community from third countries; Council Directive 91/496/EEC of 15 July 1991 which sets out the principles governing the organization of veterinary control of animals entering into the Community from third countries and amending Directives 89/662/EEC, 90/425/EEC and 90/675/EEC.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
