Abstract
This Regulation determines the health and nutritional claims, effective conditions, and additional methods and restrictions regarding the health and nutritional claims that are indicated when packaging/labelling, advertising and presentation of food/foodstuff.
This rules stipulated by this Regulation shall apply to food intended for delivery to the final consumer; food intended for the supply of catering facilities, canteens, hospitals, kindergartens, schools and other similar businesses in food business (consumer for direct consumption); food for special dietary needs; natural mineral water; drinking water; food supplements/spices.
The rules here provided are also in accordance with the provisions of the: Regulation (EC) no. 1924/2006 of the European Parliament and Council of 20 December 2006 on nutrition and health claims for food.
