Surface and groundwater monitoring Programme for 2021.

This Programme, as in accordance with the provisions of the Montenegrin Water Law, determines the order for use and protect all national surface and groundwater, including qualitative and quantitative monitoring issues.
This monitoring Programme includes monitoring of the chemical and ecological status of surface waters and monitoring of chemical and quantitative status of groundwater. The surface water monitoring programme consists of supervisory, operational and research-monitoring contents and contains: a list of surface water bodies for which it is determined chemically and ecologically status, list of substances to be tested, methodologies for biological and hydromorphological elements in ecological status, sampling points by coordinates in the national coordinate system in appropriate scale, sampling methods and specific hydromorphological programme monitoring. The groundwater monitoring program consists of supervisory and operational monitoring and contains: list of groundwater bodies for which chemical and quantitative status is determined; list of surface water bodies that naturally or artificially feed certain aquifer; measuring points for monitoring of chemical and quantitative status and their determination in the national coordinate system; determination of sampling depth and description of previous pumping, techniques and equipment for sampling; annual sampling frequency plan and scope of analysis of chemical status parameters; sampling methods and analytical methods of chemical status parameters; description of conceptual model of groundwater bodies for which quantitative status is determined; list of surface water bodies that are important for determining the quantitative status of groundwater; selection and description of quantitative status monitoring parameters; data processing and archiving; annual frequency plan for measuring quantitative status parameters and defining measurement methods and methods quantitative status.
