Abstract
This Sustainable pesticide use monitoring Programme for 2022 determines the perpetrators, the number of facilities and checklists for agricultural holdings where pesticides are used and stored. The goal of the Programme is to check the conditions of facilities for storage of plant protection products on agricultural farms by 2022 (4468 agricultural producers of food of plant origin were registered in Montenegro at the primary level production). The Programme sets priorities in accordance with the risk analysis, based on the size of agricultural land, so far evidence of identified irregularities in order to determine the condition of facilities where pesticides are stored. Any change in the conditions in the storage facilities in relation to the prescribed conditions should be recorded and eliminated because it can lead to changes in the pesticide itself which can directly affect their effectiveness but also have an impact on human health, plants (phytotoxicity) and environment. The Programme aims to identify irregularities in order to eliminate them and implement timely activities in order to eliminate potential hazards to humans, plants, animals or environment.
