Abstract
This Act provides for the control of meat and meat products intended for exportation.
The Act makes provision for the inspection of animals prior to slaughtering and post-mortem examination of carcasses and meat. It further lays down requirements regarding labelling, packing, storage and handling of meat and meat products and provides for the registration of meat export businesses and measures of control and enforcement.
