Abstract
An Act to regulate the harvesting of trochus. The 8 sections carry the following titles: Short title (1); Interpretation (2); Application of the Act (3); Regulation of the harvesting of trochus (4); Open season (5); Permitted taking of trochus in open season (6); Removal for replanting, etc. (7); Enforcement (8).
The Act applies to internal waters and territorial sea. Open seasons are declared by the Cabinet. Section 7 provides for permits to remove and transport trochus for the purpose of its introduction or propagation in any other area.
