Abstract
This Act amends the Maritime Act in various provisions and by adding a new section. The amended provisions concern, among other things: statement of policy (including preservation and protection of the marine environment); keeping of records relating to vessels; and construction certificates and other documents relating to vessels. The new section (214A) regarding proof of conditions of a vessel before issue of a certificate.
