Abstract
These Regulations of the Environmental Protection Authority establish a system of control over the importation, distribution, sale, and use of pesticides by persons within the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and further, to ban or restrict the use of twelve of the world's most highly toxic persistent organic pollutants ("POPS"), nine of which are pesticides, one of which is an industrial chemical, and two of which are unintentional chemical byproducts, all targeted by the United Nations Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants.
