Abstract
The Policies and Priority Actions for Sustainable Mariculture Development is a national policy identifying actions to advance the sustainable development of mariculture in the Republic of the Marshall Islands. This policy lays down actions to address priority issues that are laid down as follows: (I) the role of the government; (II) community involvement, local benefits, education and technical training; (III) linking mariculture with marine protected areas, marine conservation, outer island economic development, and restocking; and (IV) issues related to production, the efficient use of facilities, and profitability.
