It involves the following sectors (i) Energy, including electricity generation, domestic transportation, cooking and lighting, (ii) Waste; and (iii) Gases
To achieve the overall goal of zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, the document's main objectives are (i) reduce emissions of greenhouse gases (GHGs) to at least 32% below 2010 levels by 2025 and to at least 45% below 2010 levels by 2030; (ii) reduce its emissions of GHGs by at least 58% below 2010 levels by 2035; (iii) produce a National Adaptation Plan (NAP) by the end of 2019. This NDC follows a cross-sectoral approach, committing to have a gender-responsive and human rights-based approach in all NDCrelated planning, programming and implementation.
