Abstract
These Regulations lay down rules for the requirements, conditions and criteria for environmental permit for development activities for long-term stability, productivity, environmental quality, sustainable development and protection of natural resources. These Regulations establish standards, criteria and permitting procedures in accordance with the Coast Conservation Act and National Environmental Planning Act, in order to reduce or prevent the significant impacts of development activities on the environment.

These regulations shall come into force one day after their approval by the Cabinet.
Notes
The provisions of these Regulations are governed by the Environmental Protection Authority.
