Law on assessment.

This Law regulates the performance of assessment, the areas, the conditions and the manner of performing assessment, the entities performing assessment, the conditions and procedure for taking professional exams for the purpose of issuing or revoking of necessary licenses for assessment performance, including issues on remuneration and reimbursement of costs for performed assessments. This Law further determines the competence, organization and operation of the Chamber of Appraisers of Republic of Macedonia, as well as other issues related to the assessment in general. The assessment is performed in the following areas: 1) trade company, public enterprise and other legal entities; 2) real estate; 3) movable property; 4) receivables and liabilities; 5) machines and equipment; 6) means of transport; 7) agriculture, forestry and water economy; 8) industrial property; 9) copyrights and related rights; 10) protection of the environment; 11) information technology; 12) police and military equipment; 13) property taxes; 14) other possible areas if determined by law.
