Abstract
This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Law on ambient air quality, prescribes detailed contents and sets the necessary manner of preparation of short-term action plans for ambient air protection. Short-term action plans for ambient air protection shall contain information and data on: 1) Basic characteristics of the zones/agglomerations; 2) Condition of the air quality in zones/agglomerations; 3) Analysis of the climatic and meteorological situation; 4) Indications on the location where alert thresholds are exceeded; 5) Analysis regarding the appearance of alert thresholds; 6) The impact of individual activity/sector on certain locations; 7) Definition and data on sources of pollution; 8) Analysis of the situation and factors/reasons that contributed to the occurrence of discovered exceedances; 9) Measures and recommendations for reducing the duration of exceeding alert threshold in order to protect human health and the environment; 10) Detailed description of the planned measures, with defined deadlines and institutions and other stakeholders for their implementation; 11) Defining competent authorities, institutions and installations for implementation of short-term action plans; 12) Informing the public and 13) Attachments with other documents of interest for preparation of short-term action plans.
