Regulation on the form and content of annual report on the treatment of waste batteries and accumulators and on the manner of its submission, as well as on the form and content of forms for keeping records on quantities and types of batteries and accumulators released on the national market.

This Regulation, based on the provisions of the national Law on management of batteries and accumulators and waste batteries and accumulators, prescribes the form and content of annual reporting forms on treatment of waste batteries and accumulators and sets the manner of its delivery, as well as the form and content of the template for keeping records on quantities and types of batteries and accumulators that where released on the national market. These annual reports contain the data obtained on the basis of: information obtained from records kept by manufacturers; data obtained from quantity reports of collected waste batteries and accumulators that are submitted by legal or natural persons engaged in such activities; data obtained from quantity reports of seized, treated or recycled or exported waste batteries and accumulators. This text is harmonized with the Directive 2006/66/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on batteries and accumulators and waste batteries and accumulators and repealing Directive 91/157/EEC (Decision of the Commission of 29 September 2008 on establishing a general methodology for calculating the annual sales of portable batteries and accumulators to end users, in accordance with Directive 2006/66/EC).
