Regulation on issuing a permit for conducting scientific research in nature.

This Regulation, based on the provisions of the national Law on nature protection, provides for the form and content of the request for issuance of permits for conducting scientific research in nature. This text further specifies the necessary procedure for its issuance, as well as the form and content of granted permit for conducting scientific research in nature. The application sheet/form for requesting licenses for scientific research is given in Annex 1 of this publication. Permit sample is given in Annex 2. During the procedure for issuing related nature research permits, the Environmental Administration shall evaluate different factors, including: 1. The importance of research for the advancement of science or for essential biomedical purposes; 2. The purpose in terms of breeding, reproduction or improvement of the condition of species, which will increase the benefits of nature conservation; 3. The contribution of the research for educational purposes and purposes for protection or nature conservation (see article 5). If during the conduct of scientific research in nature it is found that such research should change in relation to the purpose for which the permit was issued, the holder of related permit should inform the Directorate of Environment. The Environmental Directorate shall asses whether it is necessary to supplement or modify the license, for which it will inform the licensee no later than 30 days from the date of receipt of new information.
