Abstract
This Regulation, based on the provisions of the national Law on management of batteries and accumulators and waste batteries and accumulators, prescribes the manner of monitoring and calculation of the realization of rates for collection of waste batteries and accumulators, as well as form and content of the form for related monitoring and calculation (given in the Annex of this publication). The collection rate of waste batteries and accumulators is monitored and calculated, based on data obtained from legal entities and individuals on the quantities of batteries and accumulators released on the internal market. This text is in line with the provisions of Directive 2006/66/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on batteries and accumulators and waste batteries and accumulators and repealing Directive 91/157/EEC.
