Abstract
This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Law on ambient air quality, determines the methodology for inventory and determination of related level of emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere in tons per year for all types of activities, as well as for other data required for the submission to the European Air Monitoring Programme (EMEP). Inventory is conducted in order to determine all emissions from anthropogenic and natural sources into the atmosphere on the national territory, and it consist of: systematic determination of emission sources; identification of activities that generate emissions; quantification of emissions by pollutants released in respective year. During the preparation of the inventory, security control and quality control are applied, among best practice indications (see articles 7 and 8).
