Regulation supplementing the Regulation on marking of eggs intended for the market and eggs intended for incubation, labelling and use of labels.

This Regulation adds certain new provisions to the Regulation on marking of eggs intended for the market and eggs intended for incubation, labelling and use of labels (originally published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia 35/2011 and already amended in the Gazette 85/2013).
The newly adopted provisions are stipulated under the new added article (2-a) that sets the rules and indications as regards the freely raised poultry (chickens), also in terms of necessary animal welfare requirements, as indicated in the Regulation on conditions and manner for the protection of farm animals.
This Regulation also harmonizes the national legislation with the provisions contained in the Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2017/2168 of 20 September 2017 amending Regulation (EC) No 589/2008 as regards marketing standards for free range eggs where hens' access to open air runs is restricted.
