Plant Pest Quarantine Regulations.

This Regulation implements provisions of the Plant pest Quarantine Act.
It consists of 22 articles divided into 7 Chapters: Title and definitions (I); Prescribing conditions for importation (II); Prescribing conditions for exportation (III); Undertaking duties and responsibilities by the Managing Director (IV); Undertaking the duties and responsibilities by the Inspector general and Inspectors (V); Undertaking the duties and responsibilities by State/Division/District/township officers-in-charge (VI); Miscellaneous (VII).
Form 3 of the Schedule contains a standard form for an application for a phytosanitary certificate, whereas the forms of certificates are set out in Form 4 and 5. The Managing Director of the Myanma Agricultural Service shall prescribe sampling techniques for phytosanitary inspection, prescribe post-entry quarantine stations and carry out other tasks specified in article 13.
Other Forms contained in the Schedule are: application for importation of plants and plants products (1); import permit (2); application for conducting fumigation (6); certificate of fumigation (7).
