Second Amendment of the Myanmar Pearl Law (Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Law No. 31, 2018).

This Law amends the Myanmar Pearl Law (principal enactment). In section 2 of the principal enactment, new sub-section (o) is inserted which provides the definition of government. In sub-section (p), the expression Ministry of Mines shall be substituted by the expression Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation. Sub-sections (d) and (i) of section 8, relating to rights and duties of permit holder, are amended. Sections 12, 26 and 39 are also amended.
