Abstract
These Regulations establish the basic safety standards for the protection of the health of individuals subject to occupational, medical and public exposures against the dangers arising from ionizing radiation. They also provide for the security of radioactive material and set out specific requirements ensuring that each source is kept under control. A system for national emergency preparedness is established.
