Abstract
These Regulations shall provide for the classification, packaging and labelling of dangerous preparations and substances as defined in regulation 3.1. and 3.3. Regulations 2.1 to 2.6 set out in detail the application sphere of these Regulations. Regulations 4.1 to 4.3. concern the evaluation of hazards of dangerous preparations and substances. General principles of classification and labelling shall be applied in accordance with criteria laid down by Directive 67/548/EEC (reg. 5). Articles 6, 7 and 8 further provide for the evaluation of hazards to health and the environment. Preparations covered by these Regulations shall not be placed on the market unless they comply with them. Regulation 10 deals with packaging of preparations whereas regulations 11 to 16 concerns labelling and safety data sheets. (completed by 7 Schedules)
