Development (Notification) Order, 2001 (L.N. No. 126 of 2001).

Subject to the provisions of the present Order, development permissions are granted for the classes of development described as permitted development in the Schedule to this Order (art. 3). The Planning Authority has the power to restrict permitted development pursuant to article 4. Some permitted developments shall be notified in accordance with provisions of the Schedule. Permitted developments include development of water supply services (class 6), sewage and sewage disposal facilities (class 7), development related to agriculture (class 11), geological and mineral exploration (class 16), and development related to storm water (class 18).
