Abstract
These Regulations apply to the manufacture, storage, transport and placing on the market of all food products for human consumption which are manufactured and presented for sale as quick-frozen (as defined in regulation 3). The manufacture of quick-frozen food shall be carried out in accordance with the rules laid down in regulation 4; regulation 5 concerns the storage of such food. The transport of quick-frozen food shall be carried out with vehicles that are registered for such purpose under the Food Safety Act, 2002. The sale of quick-frozen food shall be carried out only in premises that are registered for such purpose an accordance with the Act and these Regulations. Regulations 7, 8 and 9 contain rules concerning packing and labelling of quick-frozen food. Regulation 10 defines the duties of the responsible person as defined by the Act in respect of any food business dealing with quick-frozen food. Other regulations concern measurement of temperature.
