Seeds of Agricultural Plants and Vegetables (Amendment No. 2) Regulations, 2021 (L.N. 507 of 2021).

The scope of these regulations is to transpose European legislation on the marketing of fodder plant seed, cereal seed, beet seed, vegetable seed and seed of oil and fibre plants, as regards the use of biochemical and molecular techniques. Sub-regulation (2) of regulation 2 is substituted to provide for the application of the Regulations to to the marketing of seeds of agricultural plants and vegetables of the genera, species and their hybrids listed in Schedule I of the regulations. The regulations also amend Schedule II of the Seeds of Agricultural Plants and Vegetables Regulations.
