Abstract
An Act to provide for licences for the sale of chemical fertilizers, to lay down certain conditions with respect to the sale of fertilizers, and to regulate the sampling and analysis of chemical fertilizers.
"Chemical fertilizer" is defined as "any substance containing one or more of the basic elements used as fertilizer" (sect. 2). Any person wishing to sell chemical fertilizers shall make an application in the prescribed manner. No chemical fertilizer shall be sold except on premises in respect of which a valid licence exists (sect. 3). No fertilizer shall be sold except in sealed containers and the fertilizer shall comply with the composition or limits of variation set out in the Second Schedule (sect. 4).
