Abstract
These Regulations require every person who intends to buy a live animal for home slaughter (slaughter for religious purposes) to make an application in writing to the Division of Veterinary Services for a home slaughter authorization. The Division may subject the authorization to such terms and conditions as it may determine. The Regulations also prohibit the sale of animals for home slaughter unless the buyer holds an authorization.
