Abstract
These Regulations amend the Consumer Protection (Control of Sale of Imported Live Animals for Home Slaughter) Regulations 2010 in regulation 4 and in regulation, which prohibits a person to sell a live animal for home slaughter unless, among other thing: the live animal, in the case of: (i) cattle, is not less than 2 years old; and (ii) goat or sheep, is not less than one year old. The Second Schedule to the principal Regulations is revoked and replaced by the Second Schedule set out in the Schedule to these Regulations.
