Abstract
These Regulations, made by the Minister section 71(1)(f) and (j) of the Fisheries and Marine Resources Act, prohibits fishing for octopus during the closed season or any octopus that is undersized. However, the Permanent Secretary may, for the purpose of scientific research, authorise a person to fish octopus during a closed season. Penalties are prescribed.
