Fisheries and Marine Resources (Fishing of Sea Cucumbers) Regulations 2008 (GN No. 189 of 2008).

These Regulations prohibit the fishing for undersized sea cucumber or any sea cucumber from 1 January to 31 March in each year. No person shall land, have in his or her possession or sell any undersized sea cucumber. The Permanent Secretary of the competent Ministry may, subject to restrictions as prescribed by these Regulations, authorize the fishing of sea cucumbers under such terms and conditions as he or she thinks fit.
