Fisheries and Marine Resources (Fishing of Sea Cucumbers) Regulations 2009 (GN No. 110 of 2009).

These Regulations prohibit the fishing for undersized sea cucumber or any sea cucumber from 1 January to 31 March in each year. In addition, no person shall land, have in his or her possession or sell any undersized sea cucumber. The Regulations also prohibit the fishing for any sea cucumber from 1 October 2009 to 30 September 2011. The Permanent Secretary of the competent Ministry may, subject to restrictions as prescribed by these Regulations, authorize the fishing of sea cucumbers under such terms and conditions as he or she thinks fit.
