Abstract
These Regulations, made by the Minister under section 206 of the Fisheries Act 2023, define conditions for sea cucumber fishing and prevent anyone from fishing sea cucumber without authorisation. The Regulations also specify a period of the year when fishing of sea cucumbers is allowed, and define the minimum size of the species below which fishing is prohibited. The Regulations provide for penalties and fines in case of misconduct.
