Abstract
These Regulations, made by the Minister, on the recommendation of the Procurement Policy Office, under section 61 of the Public Procurement Act, 2006, provide for amending the Public Procurement Regulations of 2008. Amendments concern: requirements and reasons for a public body to resort to direct procurement, including: small works and services, small amounts of consumable goods, small consultancy services; replacement of the threshold for the low value procurement of good, works, consultancy services; reserved works contracts for micro- and small enterprises, and related threshold; procurement of good, works and services funded by a foreign State or by a donor organisation who imposes conditions on the procurement.
