Animals (Import) Rules.

These Rules place restrictions on the importation of animals including semen and eggs and animal by-products including vaccines. No person shall import animals or animal by-products except under a permit of the Chief Veterinary Officer. No permit shall be required for animals or by-products in transit. The Chief Veterinary Officer may require any animals or animal by-product to be examined by a veterinary officer, be held in quarantine or be destroyed.
