Abstract
These Rules require all cattle in Malawi which: (a) normally resides within an eight-kilometre range of a Government dip tank or any dip tank owned by a private person and which is a dip tank approved by the Government; (b) forms part of a herd owned by the same person of 100 animals or more, to be dipped in a dip tank or a spray race at least one a week.
The Rules also provide, among other things, for the construction of dip tanks by animal owners on order of the Minister, inspections, directions of the Minister regarding dipping and dipping in public dip tanks.
