Abstract
These Regulations amend the Geographical Indications Regulations 2001.
Amendments include the insertion of a new definition to regulation 2; minor changes to regulation 14; insertion of new regulations 14A, 14B, 14C and 14D providing for the registration, removal or renewal of agents, and for the Register of Geographical Indications Agents; insertion of new regulations 29A, 29B, 29C, 29D, 29E, 29F and 29G addressing matters related to the registration of geographical indications; insertion of new registration fees in the First Schedule and of new registration application forms in the Second Schedule.
