Abstract
Any person who intends to import or export any plant, animal, carcass, fish, agricultural produce, soil or microorganism shall apply for a permit, licence or certificate to import, or a permit or licence to export from the Director General. An application for a permit, licence and certificate shall only be made after an applicant is registered as an importer, exporter or agent with the Director General. Permit, licence and certificate are non-transferable. The Regulations further make provisions for: renewal of licence, suspension, termination, validity of permit, licence or certificate, penalties, etc.
