Abstract
The present Order lays down some amendments to the Malaysian Rubber Board (Incorporation) Act, 1996. In particular, cess at the rates specified in column (4) of the Schedule attached to the Act aforementioned shall be imposed on the rubber products specified in columns (2) and (3) of the same Schedule (whether made wholly or partly from rubber) produced in and exported from Peninsular Malaysia. However, such provision shall not apply to imported rubber products that are re-exported.
