Abstract
These Regulations are enacted in accordance with Poisons Act 1952. The Regulations consist of 28 Sections.
Regulations cover the importation, storage, transport, packaging, labelling of poisons. Part II Poisons under Poisons Act 1952 to be used for industry, agriculture or horticulture shall not to be stored on a shelf or near food. No person shall store any poison except in a container impervious to the poison and sufficiently stout to prevent leakage from the container arising from the ordinary risks of handling. Poisons for use in agriculture. etc., are required to be mixed with distinctive dye. In addition, the Regulations make special provision relating to lead tetra ethyl: Prohibition of manufacture of lead tetra ethyl; Control of the import of concentrated ethyl fluid; etc.
