Abstract
These Regulations consist of 75 articles divided into XI Parts and 4 Schedules. Part II deals with licensing rules and the services of wildlife guides. Part III focuses on wildlife sanctuaries with particular regard to (i) entrances and exits; (ii) closure of open parts for specific reasons such as protection of animals or plants, safety of the public, climatic or any other reason; (iii) prohibition of disturbing animals; (iv) killing or wounding animals (need to be reported); (v) prohibited acts; (vi) fishing permits, fishing gears admitted, written reports about the caught; (vii) weapons possession; (viii) waste disposal; (ix) trade or business within the open parts. Part IV regards specifically hunting, in particular the admitted weapons, licenses, fees, butchering of animals. Part V deals with possession of and trade in animals, focusing on certification of legal ownership, animal captivity permits, animal accommodations, animal dealer's permits. Part VI is dedicate to the plant protection, in particular plant collection licenses and related fees, plant dealer's permits, registers of possessed and traded plants, plant sale certification. Part VII concerns, more specifically, control of movement of animals and plants into or out of the State, in terms of permits and certificates of origin for the purpose of export. In Part VIII more specific topics regarding wildlife are dealt with, such as tour operator's permit, commercial filming and photography, animal farming or plant cultivation permits, outbreak of diseases, captive breeding certificate and certificate of artificial propagation, zoological and botanical gardens.
Schedule 1 contains the forms related to the topics and provisions present in the Regulations. Schedule 2 lists the fees regarding all the different activities. Schedule 3 deals with the various charges divided per the different kind of animals. Schedule 4 lists the prohibited weapons.
