Decree No. 31/2015 approving the Mining Act Regulation.

This Decree, approves the Regulation of Mining Act and its Annexes. The Regulation, consisting of 7 Chapters and 15 Annexes, establishes rules to carry out prospecting and exploration operations, development, exploitation, processing and related treatment, as well as to conduct geological mapping, mining, metallurgical and scientific studies, regulating the mining registry, and establishing taxes applicable to the administrative applications for requesting mining licenses and permits, the legal regime of mining titles, including mining pass, mining processing license, license for prospection and research, mining concession as well as mining certificate, small-scale mining and artisanal permits for extraction of mineral resources for construction, transmission and revocation of mining titles and penalties.
