Decree No. 63/2006 establishing legal provisions on imports, supply and trade of petroleum products.

This Decree, consisting of 10 Chapters, establishes legal provisions on imports, supply and trade of petroleum products, including prices fixation. It aims at guaranteeing petroleum products supply in efficient and economic way; guaranteeing the petroleum products supply in quality and competitive price to costumers; facilitate investments and the creation of works in this sector; promote safety conditions and protect the environment in all the activities related to this sector, including biofuel, from production or imports up to the supply to the final user; promote the development of competitive markets for this products; promote the participation of the National entrepreneurship in this sector and a better access to petroleum products within the whole National territory.
