Abstract
This Decree aims at redefining the competencies, composition and bodies of the National Council for Food and Nutritional Security (CONSAN), created by Decree No. 69/2017 of 6 December. New competencies concern promotion and implementation of legislation, policies, strategies and programmes pertaining to Food and Nutritional Security (SAN), which have the task of inter-ministerial and institutional coordination of decision-making on the implementation of related legislation, policies, strategies and programmes and the promotion of actions within the scope of SAN, respecting the specific role of the institutions, entities and communities involved.
