Ministerial Order No. 38/2025 approving the Internal Regulation of the General Health Inspectorate.

This Ministerial Decree approves the Internal Regulations of the General Health Inspectorate (IGS). The IGS carries out its inspection and supervision activities in all areas of healthcare provision, sanitation, disease prevention, maintenance, and improvement of public health, whether by institutions, services, and agencies of the Ministry that oversees the health sector, or by entities under its supervision, or by private entities, individuals, or legal entities, whether for-profit or non-profit. IGS operates throughout the national territory and has its headquarters in the city of Maputo. IGS may establish delegations or other forms of representation anywhere in the national territory, whenever justified.
